At 24 years old, Shawn Tyler Gray is a singer/songwriter and worship leader committed to ministering through his music and passion for God. Growing up under his Grandfather's ministry at a small church in Indiana, Shawn came to know Christ at a young age. It was through music programs at his church he first realized his passion for singing and songwriting.
Over the years Shawn has invested himself in learning and honing his craft, resulting in a deep catalog of original songs, including several songs co-written with various professional Nashville-based songwriters, such as Darwin Moody, President of Embassy Music, and John Pisciotta, of Paradiso Music, former writer for Sony Music. Shawn has also had the opportunity to open up for such major label artists as: Matthew West, Bethany Dillon, Barlow Girl, Tait, Jump 5, Exit East, Farewell June, Everyday Sunday and Ever Stays Red.
Currently a resident of Chandler, Arizona, Shawn has spent the past 4 years touring and performing concerts as well as leading worship at churches and venues across the United States. In the summer of 2006, Shawn brought his music to the Philippines for a three-week concert tour, which included several radio-shows and a televised concert. Shawn's songs can still be heard on Christian radio throughout the country. Prior to living in Arizona, Shawn served as the worship leader at the First Baptist Church of Brookville, Indiana for three years. He is currently serving as the worship leader at Rock Point Church in Queen Creek/Gilbert, Arizona. Along with his position at Rock Point Shawn continues his touring throughout the Southwest.
Shawn's debut album, "Right Here, Right Now", was released in November of 2003. His first single, "Dominoes", was promoted nationally to Christian radio, by Michael Johnson, a prominent Nashville radio promoter, who's credits include: Essential Records, Third Day, By the Tree, Barlow Girl, Nicole C. Mullen, and many more. This promotion included a 26 city radio tour in July and August of 2004. As a result of this tour and radio promotion, "Dominoes" has received airplay on Christian radio stations nationwide and in countries around the world. Promotion also led to Shawn's album being distributed nationwide to many Christian stores including some of the country's largest Christian book-stores.
Shawn spent a good portion of 2005 and 2006 focused on the creation and release of his sophomore album, and in early fall of 2006, his latest album, "No Turning Back" was released.
And through all of this, Shawn's true heart's desire is to see others brought to Christ through his original music and testimony. He continues to ministers to people through a genuine spirit, heartfelt lyrics and music. Shawn remains committed to showcasing and touring, to personally connect with as many people as he can, and to share his heart and ministry through anointed artistry and musicianship.

" It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, Most High, to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfullness at night, to the music of the ten srtinged lyre and the melody of the harp." Thanks Shawn!!
