slackshaman is alex in whitehorse. alex sings, plays guitar and bass, makes weird noises with his throat, and bangs on soup pots and beer boxes. the music is a post-modern blend of east and west, electronic and organic.
alex ran north after seeing the signs and gaining an understanding of what was to come. here he lives quietly, far away from the storms. these songs were recorded in 2005, on the banks of the yukon river.
