About Laura James

My names laura, i'm a 17 year old singer songwriter from carlisle, i love music its just about the most amazing thing that has ever been. my dad especially influenced me into music as he has been playing the guitar since he was 15 too. I write my songs about my experiences, about however i feel. I know exactly where i want to be in my life and although it may be a long shot I'm excited about the future. Music is exactly where i fit in and i couldnt feel much more comfortable than when im playing my music to an audience. I'ts what feels right to me. And it makes me so happy. I wrote my first song at the beginning of secondary school, when i was about 12/13, i called it can you walk me home. its probably one of my favourites. i just hope there's alot more like it to come. in fact i'm sure there will be! i hope you enjoy listening to my music. x x x
