I spend every fall and early winter roaming around the wilds of north-central BC in search of bears and steelhead. When in BC I try to lace up the skates as much as possible too. I also like spending time with all my BC friends. Would like to explore a bit more around the globe in pursuit of toothy fish and deep powder.
Winter months in Colorado I'll get in a little boarding, but most of my focus is on family, friends, my biz and hockey. Play with the Slayers hockey club in Durango Colorado-2006 A1 champs, 2007 level 2 champs and we just won the 2008 winter season!
Spring and summer keep me busy with time on the rivers and streams in southern Colorado and northern New Mexico. Also guiding cast-challenged clients (job) Photography, graphic arts, web design, accounting and marketing (more jobs).
I also make time for live music, searching for new music and rippin' PBRs as well as enjoying True Blondes (Ska's best brew). A little single malt scotch, a little Goat vodka and tonic and a little red vino all while cooking wicked grub. Watching live hockey and time with friends, family and my sweet dog Kispiox.
Music
I'm pretty diverse, but most of the time I'm rockin' out to punk, rock, indi, acoustic as well as rowdy bluegrass and folk. I really do like the independent sound. I'm pretty much addicted to CBC Radio 3 podcasts. From time to time a little jazz or blues even mixed in with the diverse sounds from far away cultures. And when I need to, I can head-bang with the best of them.

After a long day in the office or on the river I click on a hockey game or movie. Some times CSI or The Simpsons late night. Other than that not much TV. More boob, less tube.
Books
Just re-read The Snow Fly, by Joseph Heywood. What a book. It is a story of life, death, war, friendship, lovers, sex, love, mystery, conspiracy all while flirting with the quest to find a mysterious insect hatch and giant trout. What a great book, read it.
Recent: The Longest Walk. Wow, unreal tale.
