Hey Everyone!
I know this is the part where I am supposed to talk in third person and make myself sound like some sort of musical master. Truth is I am just a girl with a dream. I get stage fright, pour out my heart in my songs and will not stop until I have chased down all my dreams. I have been singing and writing music since I was a little girl. The songs on my page are more then melodies, they are my tears, my truths; they are me. I spent the last few years on nothing more then a dream and a prayer. I spent months crashing on couches, counting pennies and writing. I have been blessed to have help from friends and family who believe in me and the support of artist who understand dreams.
With my shoe string budget, I recorded these songs months after discovering several tumors inside my thyroid. They were painful and made it hard to breathe and especially to sing. I had them removed in June and have been blessed by a full recovery. After a few weeks of vocal rest I grew to appreciate the gift God has given me. I am still a work in progress, but I am excited for the opportunities ahead. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and support. Tami! What have you been up to? Congrats on becoming the new Miss CA! It's good to hear two sides of the traditional marriage debate. Week going well so far? Big plans this weekend? What are your new duties at Miss CA?
