SMILES, DANCES AND STOMPS WITH BIG BOOTS AS SHE PLAYS!!!!>

"It's a dangerous job, being a musician, and the stage a high-risk
environment. Every year scores of people die from improperly earthed
microphones and guitars, are maimed by collapsing stages, fall off
drum stools, have lighting rigs fall on them, and get beaten up by
jealous boyfriends because their girlfriend had the temerity to
watch the band."
"But there's one thing that strikes terror into the hearts of even the
most seasoned jazz-funkateer. And that thing is Claudia. If she
doesn't take one of your eyes out with her swinging hair extensions,
she'll get you with the headstock of her guitar, and if you're not
already crippled by now, your feet will get crushed by her Doc Martens."

As you probably worked out I play bass (and sing a bit these days!). I also play acoustic 6 and 12 string guitars for the purpose of my little solo project which may or may not ever see the light of day. We shall see...but bass is what I do the most. I feel its a dangerous thing to tie yourself to one genre unless you intend to do nothing else. At one point if anyone asked I'd say I was a blues bass player - I then had to work on convincing people I could do other stuff too. These days I'm pretty much up for anything - I've managed to weasel my way into many a project from sci-fi indie pop to Danish folk music!
I'm occasionally up for depping and studio work. I don't teach but I know a few people that do.
