Hailing from the utopian North Coast of NSW where the surf beckons and the living is good, its easy to understand why songsmith Felicity Burdett and her band are so happy. In the short span a 1 year they have released their debut CD (through MGM), won 'Album of the Year' in the NCEIA Dolphin Awards, and played some really cool gigs including Joyfest, the Globe Pro Surfing Event, The East Coast Blues & Roots Festival, headliners at the Harvest Ball Nimbin Mardi Grass ,Splendor in the Grass and the Woodford Folk Festival.
The five piece outfit from Lennox Head/Byron Bay, play a mix of funky melodic grooves that celebrate life, love and the elements. The Love Bus have been gigging constantly since their inception and built a firm fan-base through their positively charged live sets. Their award winning album has been highly acclaimed by reviewers as uplifting and inspirational and is receiving airplay on Triple J, ABC Radio and Community Radio across Australia.
When it comes to song writing, Felicity Burdett ,an ocean lover/surfer, likes to focus on positivity and draws inspiration from her natural surroundings. "It feels great to be able to send messages out through my songs in the hope of inspiring others." Her lyrics talk of love, freedom, politics, spirituality, honesty & dreams...
Going with the Flow is drenched in freedom and highly inspiring.
"It isn't every day that you hear music that lifts your spirits and makes you want to sing, or fly, or at the very least, crack a big smile".
The album is available at all major music outlets through MGM, and online via the band's website.
