Musically:
Tons! I've listened to ALOT of music over the years. I try to grab things from all sources, cause I believe the nature of a song will 'suggest' things about style, attitude, vibe... That being said... I love Shane and Shane, Jeremy Camp, Cindy Morgan, David Crowder, Steven Curtis, Jason Upton, Isreal Houghton, Ron Kenoly, Jeremy Riddle, Paul Baloche... Lately I've been working on tone with David Phelps and agility with Brian McKnight (alright, they don't KNOW this, but it's them on the CD's I'm analyzing and singing with..) and that's just the newer stuff! Lot of secular stuff from my BC days... heheh, Before Christ!... Just simply too much to name. Trust me!
I couldn't talk about muscial influence without mentioning Berklee and specifically my Lyric and Songwriting Professor Pat Pattison. He's definately the most dynamic instructor I've ever had... definately opened my 'senses.' I highly recommend his books to ANY aspiring songwriters.
I also FIRMLY believe that the MOST influencial person in the world, in my life and FOR LIFE in general is ABSOLUTELY JESUS CHRIST! I hope to increase in measure of HIS character above and beyond ALL ELSE! He is THE standard of THE WORD (The Bible) made flesh!

Okay! Here's what 'I DO'... I'm a Contemporary Christian Artist with a REAL heart for Intimate Worship! I majored in Commercial Arranging at Berklee College of Music (NO that isn't JUST 'music FOR commercials'... though i do that as well.) I lead worship and speaking engagements (aka "Gatherings") for JirehScope Ministries. I've done session work as a Bassist, keyboardist and vocalist... I also own a fairly elaborate soundproof 2 room home recording studio which allows me to realize my work as a Singer/Songwriter/Producer. This studio is an AMAZING answer to prayer in and of itself... a story I'd love to share if you'd like to hear! I look forward to recording in the new studio VERY SOON... the music tracks on this page were recorded in my 'bedroom studio'... which was well... LESS OPTIMUM!!
Now... not to confuse what 'I DO' with WHO I am...
I AM: a 36 year old 'child of God' (who occassionally gets accused of acting 17!!) who is PASSIONATE about music and MORE passionate about GOD! I've devoted my life and music to serving Jesus Christ and NEVER looked back... there's nothing to 'look back' at... my life before Christ was no 'life' at all... though there were plenty of good times (as well as hard times) the bottom line is I was separated from God and therefore according to the Bible headed for death instead of eternal life in Christ Jesus (see Romans 6:23)... and there is nothing that compares with the GREAT GIFT of being RECONCILED to Him through the death and ressurection of Christ as a scapegoat for me! I've been involved in ministry for 20 years... the last 8 years full time... God allowed me to start a ministry called JirehScope Ministries (Jireh=The God Who Provides... Scope is both 'seeing' and 'targeting'... PUT IT TOGETHER... A ministry that YEARNS to see and focus on GOD... and through worshipping Him welcome His Presence!) The Bible shows TIME and again that where God is there is FREEDOM, FAVOR and NO LACK. (EG when the Ark remained in Obed Edom... FAVOR! 2 Corinthians 3 says, 'where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM!) **PLEASE NOTE** WE DON"T SEEK Him for His PROVISION... we SEEK Him because of the GREAT Father that He is!!! BUT as a Great Father... HE GIVES HIS KIDS THE BEST!!! He just does! (Read Luke 15... you'll see!)
Most folks would describe me as down to earth (aka 'real') and fairly humorous. (just LOOK at me for crying out loud!) I LOVE PEOPLE!! and I thank God for the people that He has surrounded me with.
