TULSA INTERNATIONAL MAYFEST:
Mayfest is an outdoor tribute to the arts and music that is a family-oriented event created to promote a broader knowledge of and appreciation for arts and humanities among serious, as well as casual art lovers.
This years is the festival's 37th year and it will be held in Downtown Tulsa from 3rd to 6th and Main to Boston on May 14th-17th.
BLUE DOME FESTIVAL:
Last year over two hundred artists participated in the festival. It's truly a grass roots event, put on by a handful of volunteers who contribute their time and effort. The idea for the festival was conceived by Virginia Harrison, a local artist, who had the foresight to contact a local developer, Michael Sager, who shared her bohemian spirit and interest in showcasing the work of local artists. With the assistance of the Arts & Humanities Council of Tulsa, contributions from local businesses, other artists and individuals who believed in their vision the festival has been a rousing success and is well in the works for a fifth year. Ultimately, after all is said and done it remains a community based festival dependent upon the artists and our citizens who support them to make the Blue Dome Festival a tradition that will continue to grow.
DFEST CONFERENCE AND FESTIVAL:
Dfest Music Conference and Festival showcases 130+ artists of the best emerging independent artists in the country including Oklahoma, Regional and National artists over eleven stages in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. During the day, conference registrants learn and network of a full day of music industry panels, clinics, tradeshows, mentoring and artist one-on-one opportunities about the latest in the music industry at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
