Unite Tribe were a seven piece band from North Co. Dublin. Formally known as the "Rastafenians" they formed in September 2004.
The Tribe started out as a roots reggae band and played many of Ireland's top venues including the Tripod, Spirit Store, Whelans, Crawdaddy, the Temple Bar Music Centre (The Button Factory) and The Trinity Rooms.
After building up a good live reputation they decided to record their debut album "enlocari" released in March 2007 (Rastafenian Records available on itunes, cd baby and amazon!)
The Tribe played with legends such as... Isreal Vibration, The Skatalites, Culture, The Congo's, The Gladiators and New Zealand’s number one band The Blackseeds.
They toured Eastern Europe, the U.K. and Germany and in late 2007 moved to Berlin to begin writing their 2nd album.
The band split however some member formed a new project - Braintheft .
This move sparked a massive change in style, with the use of electronic sounds and more driving/dubby rythmns.
So, some of the Tribe remain in Berlin. They are currently working on their debut release.

FairplayCollective's Michael Brunnock has teamed up with his old band Little Palace and have just released a single entitled "Eviction" and can be down loaded at www.downloadmusic.ie
They have also released their third album called Invitation Time and is available in all good music stores.
Little Palace will be touring Ireland to support the release of their album and can be seen/heard at these venues.
