VELOJET may well be most easily categorized as indie-pop, but their music moves in a cosmos of sounds and ideas anddraws from all forms of pop music of the last 50 years. VELOJET have released three albums (Velojet, This Quiet Town and Heavy Gold) in Germany, Austria and Switzerlandvia Wohnzimmer/Hoanzl/Broken Silence. Six singles have been in rotation on Austria's national Radio FM4 as well asvarious German and Swiss stations.

Now with over 260 concerts under their belts (opening for acts such as The Killers, Kettcar, Tomte, Fettes Brot andmore), VELOJET have matured into a veteran live act with international appeal, including concerts in England (TheGreat Escape), Holland (Eurosonic), Germany (Reeperbahn, Popkomm), and Italy. Between 2006 and 2011, VELOJEThas thrice been nominated for the Austrian Music Award ("Amadeus Award"). Their new album was recorded mostly in August 2012 in Finland and produced by former Moneybrother drummer Magnus"Existensminimum" Henriksson for an autumn 2013 release.
