Willowglass is another of those intrepid musicians, along with Root and Rain for example, that is ploughing a lone furrow out there on his own (well, sort of, Dave Brightman helps out with some drumming). Willowglass is actually Holmfirth based Andrew Marshall, and along with Rain and Root could and should be pushing Troy Donockley and Julian Gregory for the CRS
multi-instrumentalist crown. On this release his music is quite varied instrumental prog, with echoes (no pun intended) of Pink Floyd, a little Yessy in places, and with a hint of Genesis. Overall it is a mellow listen, with well constructed tunes allowing either the guitar or keyboards to shine. The production is very good for a private pressing, and there¹s an attractively designed cover too. He¹d love to put a band together to play his material, but for now you¹ll just have to listen to the CD. Classic Rock Society, England (July/August 2005)

Afterglow comes to you in two phases. Phase one (30 minutes) is an eclectic mix of a wide variety of music, usually including quite relaxing music. Phase Two (60 minutes) is the Progressive Rock portion of the show.

The state-of-the-art poligrafic device which we keep moving from one secret hideaway to another in order to foil the machiavellian forces that are endeavouring to put their disgustingly acquisitive hands on it so that no one in the whole wide world can know their true intentions and reveal the details of their ignominious plot to rule the lives of the multitude still indicates that while bankers, stock-exchangists, and fundamental-materialists are having ongoing and increasing troubles at forcing their respective belief systems down the throat of the good hard working people that are subsidizing them when not squarely bailing them out, one thing remains constant : you can trust music to lift you up.
