About me:
Of virtues, all with whom I travel
Their whispered portents fill the ear
To keep the road for walking narrow,
Yet patience says should rest we here.
So long unto this land we’ve wandered
Through wastes that took much stronger fore,
While porters of the heart’s desire
Held shut and sealed the iron door.
Again, the patient merit rouses
And warns that though we keep to foot
This path outstretched beyond the curve
Returns, so here should stay we put.
And now the chorus grows much louder
These virtues, bearers each of bale,
But patience calls them all to silence:
Rest here we will and thus prevail.
Astern we watch the Shadow’s valley
