Dude I got this idea from an indian shaman we were discussing life over a bowl of top ramen, anyway ( kinda gay I know ) so he tells me, "We are all but sand" and I stopped him right there. I said, "Shaman man I don't understand how you can assume who is like sand and whom is the broom that cleans up man. The shaman told me very boldly, " Im a hindu your an agnostic YOU assume what I've been through while being quite caustic! At least I have faith and can truly believe where your faiths been replaced by the thoughts you perceive. Child open your heart! Child impart from the start all that is good in you the love in your veins. Child grow with the flow and the hope it sustains Child never forget how big you can be but remember the expanse we call infinity. You are a grain of earth and so am I. Those who gave birth will eventually die. Those will find peace because of their faith. those like you will have made a mistake. I stopped him again so he could understand something, " Faiths just a feeling my good shaman man. It represents healing through what we cant understand. It never has borders and a subject to hold I could have faith in my jacket to keep me from cold. Or faith in the doctor to save my son who had faith that the robber would not shoot the gun. Don't confuse your insight with what is wrong and what is right. I respect you for trying to make sense to me but I have faith in the fact that Im basically on my own road that I call fruition. Its covered with potholes and a sense of perdition. At the end I know I will find my happiness and peace of mind. and the shaman just smiled and told me Im right, It will take quite awhile to find your true light, Its not in a mile and its not overnight its the journey that counts its the people you find in your worldly accounts and your wasted time.
then he just left and I finished his ramen the funny thing was I out "sham'd" a shaman
Yo man I just want to let you know that I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything on the phone this morning, I am not like that in anyway. I never will be, i don't want to be. Think of it as a "producer's push". Hey Ive gotten it sometimes, it really does help me too. You're frikin' talented, and I can't wait to start a filmmaking relationship with you, and guess I just had to add a little extra to my voice this morning to make sure you were still on board with us.
BTW...that video poem of your's above is as inspirational as hell. I kind of want to make my own now, to tell people my story, and let them know who I am. Brilliant stuff Zach...some slick editing man!
