'Roxyrama' are a band formed in tribute to the great Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music. A group of accomplished and experienced musicians with a very convincing front man, we faithfully recreate the sounds and visuals of this timeless classic band with an emphasis on the earlier more 'hard edged' Roxy sound as well as embracing their latter more melodic material. Hiya
We’ve been working on some new songs and are in pre-production for the recording of our first commercial CD release which will be recorded over the summer, with a hopeful release October time,

Our last live performance before our summer holiday will be at the Selby outdoor festival at the James Street 'bowling green' in Selby on the 21st June, the event starts at 1pm and we’ll be on stage at 5pm others on the bill are Dirty Secrets, Chantel McGregor, The Beautiful Sound, Last Gang and headlining is the Bryan Adams Experience, we hope you can be there.

Thanks for the "Hello". I'm a sax teacher at GSAL, if your sax player ever needs a dep I think I know the Roxy repertoire well enough to stand in. If you go to myspace.com/strawberrythievesuk you can hear some of my guitar and sax playing. Our recording of Oh Yeah has some rather tasty saxophone on it, though I say so myself.

It’s been busy in the K&Q camp and we’ve a few gigs coming up in the next few weeks. We are starting in York at the Speakeasy on the 28th April before moving on to the New Roscoe in Leeds on 25th May and then onto Nottingham Trent Students Union, Brackenhurst Bar, NTSU Brackenhurst Campus, Southwell on the 29th May, It would be great to see you at one of them if you can come.

We are playing at the Junction in York next Sunday on March 8th (with RED ZEPHYR, THE LOCALS and JONNY KAY) and the Wardrobe in Leeds on the 19th March.
