Adam Heldring was born on the first day of 1982 in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
After many years in a number of bands on the Swedish rock scene, 2005 became a musical turning point. Adam went back to where he started, alone with an acoustic guitar as the weapon of choice. The formal birth of the solo project however, came with the recording of a four track demo in early 2006 accompanied by a band of fellow musicians and friends. The demo caught some immediate attention and within a matter of weeks, Adam found himself across the Atlantic ocean playing clubs in New York City. The whole experience was overwhelming in itself but standing on the stage of CBGB’s, the most famous of all rock venues, was nothing less than a dream come true.
After spending the summer back in Sweden and playing a few shows on home soil, Adam went back to the USA in the fall of 2006 for a tour of the US east coast and a three months long songwriting session.
With a rock solid confidence in himself and his new songs Adam went back to Sweden. Together with his band, he has now spent the past 9 months in the recording studio behind closed doors. And as those doors are just about to come open, the near future looks promising to say the least…
