Thanks Andrew <3 That card...did you pick it for me? :) It looks like a card from an Oracle deck that i have been trying to get my hands on... where is it from?
thank you for all your help hunting for a gig for me and my band.. we left it too late this time, but hope to see you up there in the spring..... happy days!
Hey Andy, what's your shoe size... there's no bids on the hippy Vans yet so if they don't sell and you like 'em we'll send 'em to you as a wee gift ;-)x
Cheers Andrew! Yes! Am very proud of my lovely beetle... My ladybird has wings like you do... That big mechanical monster in the photo looks crazy when it walks, the photo doesn't really do it justice.
To shorten the wait until our next album, we'll be releasing a couple of remixes and other B-side tracks on our website and needless to say on MySpace!
It's nice to hear your didgeridoo again, soothing, beautiful blog comments - thanks - LOVED them - about competing your life looks interesting! cheers Andrew
Nah I don't have 16 friends in common with my brother! I think we both played at Cobbles & Clay at the arts fest in 2007. That's around about when I started playing solo, and I have got to know others from that night since.
Hi Andrew, Thanks for your comment. Oh no! You missed the didge!? I saved it for the finale! Oh well... next time I'm in the Haworth area, I'll catch up with you. I'm moving back to Australia (Tasmania in fact) in November next year, so I'll get up to Yorkshire at least once, hopefully twice, before then. Best Wishes & Sparkles, Beck xxx P.S. Check out www.didgeman.com.au - this is the website of my friend Stax: The Didgeman, in Victoria, Australia. Stax made my didge for me from Queensland Stringybark (eucalyptus).
Without further a do we are pleased to announce the studio is open.
The large live room has acoustically isolated zones, vocal booth, digital capabilities and extensive analogue mixing and mastering facilities.
Contemporary interior design with furniture from bmw and deep shag pile carpets, provided together with excellent engineers, affordable rates, fresh coffee and a private terrace we have created one of the best studios in the north for you.
Now there's a real handy talent Andrew....making thunderstorms pass by you whilst on a hike! Maybe the magical didge had something to do with it?!
Nice for you to get out hiking...I've been working loads...overtime as well... but have some relax time planned for next day off Wednesday! Here's a pic of a couple members of 'Canned Heat', remember them? Actually put on a dynamite show at a blues fest I was at recently! All the best to you!
hiya from new mysapce friend keith in aberdeen, nice sounds u've got, liked the 2nd track's melancholy.... though confused by what a didge is to start with. i figured it out... cheers, k.
Ha! Very good one Andrew! Yes the eye sees as the eye feels (my original...)! Yours is so much more stiking than mine tho'. Hey, how goes the summer? Here, I'd hardly call it a summer...seriously wet and cool, as in avg day near 16C...what can ya do, eh, we just have to hope August is warmer! Are you heading to Womad next week? I see Marcia and Chris are going to party it up there. Should be good as P.Gabriel and Khaled are performing...I'd like to see those shows. Man, life is busy, eh? Would like to still be over there, getting to know all you folk better. But this damn work just gets in the way, and money needs, what's up with that...Remember, look up Zeitgeist the movie on the 'net...a great expose on a faulty system! Take care bud, and thanks for keeping in touch!
Hi Andrew! Thanks for the comment...it was so good of you to take the time and drive up to Glusburn to meet and chat. I enjoyed talking with you and it was a shame that the Wednesday was so crazy, we couldn't make it for a meet in Bradford. Had a good time over the final 2 days there. But now I'm at work, back to reality in Canada....vacations always seem to speed by and are never long enough. I reckon things shud be switched...we work the amount of days we now have for vacation, and we vacation the days we'd normally work each year! Hmmm, now there's a concept! Hey, I hope you remain in good health, have a grand summer, and we'll chat on and off. I'll have some pics of the trip up on my profile soon...Cheers!
