Since it started back in 1989 when Luis Calvo published a fanzine called "La línea del arco", Elefant Records has become a landmark name in the Spanish music scene, first, and in the international indie-pop community afterwards. Throughout these years, Elefant Records has gone from helping build a solid independent structure in Spain (releasing records by the top Spanish bands as well as well known international names; publishing its own music magazine Spiral, broadcasting a nationwide radio and TV show -Viaje a los sueños polares-; helping launch the first three editions of the Benicassim Festival...) to become a strong yet young presence elsewhere, with such current top acts on its roster as CAMERA OBSCURA, TREMBLING BLUE STARS, LA CASA AZUL. THE SCHOOL, NICK GARRIE, FITNESS FOREVER, SPEEDMARKET AVENUE, HELEN LOVE, COLA JET SET, SINGLE, LINDA GUILALA, COOPER, LA BIEN QUERIDA, BLA, PAPA TOPO, MODULAR, GIORGIO TUMA, THE CARROTS or STEREO TOTAL.

Buenos dias chicos, A raíz de ver la peli YO, TAMBIÉN porsupuesto por su banda sonora, dedicí ir corriendo a las 10:35 a comprarmela y descubrir que joya es la que suena cuando Daniel y Laura van en el típico bus turístico de Madrid un frio dia de diceimbre, ya me enamoré de esta joya solo oirla una vez. Descubrí que se trata de THE SCHOOL y como todavía no les habia dado una oportunidad: inmediatamente me compré su single (si, el de la chica tumbada oyendo música). Tras oirlo tengo que deciros que ya no puedo ser más fan de un grupo (con permiso de LA CASA AZÚL, claro) y al llegar a '' I don’t believe in love'' se me cayeron las lágrimas, pero QUE MARAVILA!!!! Yo como de inglés anda un poco justo, decidles que no paren de sacar cosas, que con esas delicias siempre tendrán un lugar de lujo en cualquier estantería de cualquier casa de cualquier persona con un mínimo de sensibilidad auditiva.
