Where did this "I don't want kids" come from. I have two wonderful kids, and a bevy of grandkids!
I love gardening, watching the wildlife frolic in my back yard, dogs, words.
I do love music, classical primarily. I have it playing softly in the background all the time I'm writing. I also love the ocean. It plays a huge part in most of my stories.

I have a tiny confession...I'm holding my grandson's Madagascar and Ice Age movies hostage until my daughter wises up enough to buy me my own copies and on the more serious side, I love curling up with Pride and Prejudice (the BBC version) and Tom Jones.

I'm an author who's been writing for 40+ years, and my love for the craft hasn't diminished one iota. When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. Not very exciting, but there you go.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd love to meet Jane Austen, even though I've heard she was prickly at times. Well, aren't we all (at least underneath)?
Actually, I'd love to meet Mr. Darcy, but he's even less available than Jane Austen.

I would have to agree that it is good summer is ending...time for the kids to go back to school and normal "routine" life to begin again!!
