Miracle Town Records is a small independent record label, run from a log
cabin, in the deep South of Glasgow.
It's run by a mysterious, yet friendly duo and set up to cater for the huge
need to record and promote good and original Country, roots and alternative
music within Scotland. We favour the traditional method of recording live,
as opposed to layering and over-dubbing tracks, as we feel that this helps maintain the songs
natural spirit and does not rip out it's heart and soul. A result, so sadly
evident in many of today's records.
We released The Scuffers debut album "The Life I've Had" on 10th November 2007. The launch party was a great success and The Scuffers and Miracle Town Records would like to thank everyone who attended and bought the album on the night, as well as those who have purchased it afterwards and on iTunes etc.
We are very excited about our first release and hope to build upon this and add more bands to our roster in the near future.
