VERY IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE NEXT THREE SENTENCES CAREFULLY BEFORE SENDING US A MESSAGE!!! Nine Pound Hammer welcomes comments and friend requests on our myspace page, however, it’s not the best way to contact us for business related issues or booking requests.

Now, we aren’t actively touring, we really only do a handful of shows each year...but please send inquiries for booking, interviews, or other Hammer-related issues to to singer Scott Luallen (sluallen at gmail . com). Thanks!

Nearly one year after their first studio release in nearly a decade, the critically acclaimed KENTUCKY BREAKDOWN, Nine Pound Hammer is finally reaping the rewards of 18 years of hard work and hard livin!!

If havin a tune on Tony Hawk’s latest video game wasn’t cool enough, the gang at Aqua Teen Hunger Force corralled the Hammer and had them pen a theme for their next smash Adult Swim series, 12 Ounce Mouse! He’s one bad mouse!

Look for limited vinyl releases of KENTUCKY BREAKDOWN on Middle Class Pig out of Germany and on Wild Punk from Spain. Lonestar Records is also releasing a 7" of brand new 9lb anthems!

The boys are grinnin’, so grab yer linens!!!!!

1988: "The Mud, the Blood, and the Beers" LP was recorded on Wanghead
1991: "Cadillac Inn/Surfabilly" 7" is recorded
1992: "Smokin’ Taters" LP released on Crypt Records
1994: "Hayseed Timebomb" LP recorded for Crypt Records
1995: "Ain’t Nothin’ To Do/Radar Love" AND "Teenage Head/Two Tub Man" 7" released
1997: "Dead Flowers" 7" is released on Answer Records
1999: "Live at the Vera" double LP live recording is released
2004: "Kentucky Breakdown" released on Acetate Records
2005: "Mulebite Deluxe" released on Acetate Records
2008: "Sex, Drugs and Bill Monroe" hits the shelves on Feb 11, 2008!
