Step On It! play fast hardcore punk rock, and do it about every weekend in DIY spaces, bars, VFW halls and clubs around the country. Having already put out one demo tape and eight song EP, "Speak For Yourself" on their own, Step On It! have lived up to their name and not sat on their asses waiting for shows, scene points or the spotlight. The summer of 2004 marked their first-ever tour with Chicago's Sidewalk, going up the down the East Coast. Weeklong stints with Plan of Attack from Chicago, Long Island punks This Is Hell and Thieves and Assassins and Outbreak (Bridge 9 Records) followed. Step On It! also landed a spot on December 2004's This Is For You Fest in Daytona Beach, Florida. With summer 2005 approaching, Step On It! is ready to re-release "Speak For Yourself" on Collective Records in CD format, this time with bonus materials and the infamous "Dub On It" sessions. Look for Step On It! all over the country this summer. The band will be on a near-three-month tour on each coast and yes, also the Midwest. Bring your beer bong.
