When hearing the word "blues", those who think of “oh the world is so sad because my baby left me again” don’t know STEPPIN‘ OUT. The band represents contemporary blues with power and the love of music. Whether they perform in a stadium as the opening act for Status Quo or in a small club, they don’t just capture blues fans. Their first CD “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service“ was declared a must-buy in Germany’s top blues magazine BLUESNEWS! One of the blues greats DICK HECKSTALL-SMITH, who displayed his mastery of the saxophone with the legendary band Colosseum or with Alexis Corner and John Mayall, can be heard on the current Album “Tomorrow Today“ (Zomba), which has received rave reviews worldwide. These were some of his last recordings.

Since summer 2007 the band was working on their new CD "Home", which had been released in May 2008. 2009 the Band released their long sought after "LIVE AND UNPLUGGED" Album!

Wem beim Thema Blues nur "Ach die Welt ist so traurig, weil mich mein Baby mal wieder verlassen hat" einfällt, kennt STEPPIN‘ OUT nicht. Die Band steht für zeitgemäßen Blues mit Power und Spielfreude, der nicht nur Bluesfans in seinen Bann zieht, egal ob im Stadion als Opening Act von Status Quo oder im kleinen Club. Ihre erste CD “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Service“ wurde von Deutschlands größtem Bluesmagazin BLUESNEWS zum Kauftipp erklärt! Auf dem aktuellen Album “Tomorrow Today“ (Zomba), welches weltweit hervorragende Kritiken bekam, ist die Bluesgröße DICK HECKSTALL-SMITH, der sein Können am Saxophon bereits bei der legendären Band Colosseum oder bei Alexis Corner und John Mayall unter Beweis stellte, mit einigen seiner letzten Aufnahmen zu hören!

2007 arbeitete die Band verstärkt an ihrer dritten CD "HOME", die im Mai 2008 bei MOON SOUND RECORDS erschienen ist. Unterstützt wird STEPPIN' OUT auf dieser Produktion von den Gitarristen Karl Allaut (Udo Lindenberg, M. M. Westernhagen) und Ali Neander (Rodgau Monotones, Xavier Naidoo, Kevin Coyne u.a.)!

2009 veröffentlicht Steppin' Out das lang erwartetes "Live And Unplugged" Album, das die Band in bester Spiellaune zeigt und neue Versionen bereits veröffentlichter Songs enthält, sowie neues Material und Interpretationen bekannter Jazz- und Bluesklassiker
